Mantova is located in the Po river valley in the north of Italy. The tenor lead in Verdi's Rigoletto is the Duke of Mantova. Claudio and I attended a wonderful exhibit of the Renaissance artist Andrea Mantegna (1431-1506).
Located in different museums and palaces in the city, giant red "M's" marked the way to each exhibit.
